Here is an interesting thought. What does 3 million tonnes a year mean? On face value it means 3 million tons, but is that correct.
A high proportion of the material is native copper and that basically does not go through the main plant. The main plant is the lower grade stuff which needs the main process. The native copper comes out even before it reaches the main processing plant.
So is it 3 million tonnes in the processing plant plus the native copper circuit as extra to the 3 million tons.
On the issue of chilling out, is it reasonable to expect a little integrity in the people who run the power house of the capitalist system. The GFC was caused by privileged people exploiting their privilege and they got away with it. We have laws in this country, that prohibit this topic even being allowed to being fully discussed. That is fact! There is a word, vilification and that word can be held as factual even when every statement used to prove a point is absolutely correct. That is insane, but that is the law of this country.
