    He was making the point that has some merit that the CMH winners are all soldiers...theyre on duty...theyre in service and they are following orders to be in an AO where their valor can be triggered and delivered upon. At the heart of it...they are there because they were told and ordered to be there. and then they respond with o/s human valour.

    For the PMF, the recipient just did things off the cuff...without orders ...had no need to get involved or even be there so on some level...the innate internal trigger to get involved and act as they did...is different to the valor of a man under arms and under orders

    Immense respect for both (and Ive met and drank with Australian recipients of the VC) but there is something different and maybe even something of the PMF effort that surpasses that of the CMH.

    Dont know if that's what DT was trying to say in his poor delivery...who knows
