Bloodwynch,
Financial forecasts would be a good defence for Allegiance. Perhaps there is more information Allegiance are holding in their defence of the Zinifex bid, or perhaps they don't see it as an important issue. They may be thinking they are acting in the best interests of the shareholders and countering a hostile bid with what they see as their best strategy. They/we are not interested in a $1.00/share bid and they/us would not be dissapointed should Zinifex remove the bid. Allegiance share price would correct, but then would be expected to re-rate once production was proven to be improving the company value.
Consider contacting them yourself Bloodwynch, you are a holder, I assume, as your disclosure status states.
When Zinifex where a $2.00 stock around Dec 04, would any of you have predicted a rise to $21.00 by July 07. So why place limitations on Allegaince. They are persuing geothermal energy, other possible minerals within their tenement holdings and have 90% of unexplored territory.
