The gossip columns of HC have got our minds nailed on speculative journalism. The $1.40 price is from various journo's - aka rumoured information - nothing is confirmed until the co. releases a fair dinkum announcement.
So, in saying that if 1.40 was on the cards by "whoever company" over 5 speculative business days ago, then if accepted by Management, UMC would be out of suspension.
They are not - negotiation with the apparent interested company must be taking shape so that there is concern maintained for shareholders before a decision is made.
I have 10k shares at 1.35 and I believe that the deposits have more worth, but I also regard the correct ways by which a public company must make decisions with shareholders in minds.
So what I am saying is stop reading into things, (don't even read this post) and consider the fact that someone finally has interest in a great exploration company with great pegs and we may do well as a result.
Rgds, and DYOR please,
J
