Well that was one big promotion of property on the surfcoast, in particular Lorne, from Adrian. I would love to know what Adrian does for a living, RE agent?, Developer? or maybe he works for tourism Victoria....
I live on the surfcoast and I can tell you that even though property has held up pretty well here it is in decline. I speak to numerous people in the area through my work and the stories that I hear are of a failing market. Properties take longer to sell, there is more for sale signs around and properties are not achieving the prices they did a few years ago.
The Surfcoast is not immune to the property bubble in Aus, there isnt that many Dr's and Lawyers out there that want a house in the area.
Imo that was just a lame attempt to pump some hot air into a deflating bubble.
