Have a mate who works in the pit at Cloud Break who told me they are going ok if a bit slow. Have a look at the FMG D&D preso to see all the haul trucks lining up waiting to get loaded. Means many trucks leave the pit not completely full. Think they had issues early on as the teeth weren't up to scratch as they are mainly used to mine coal which is softer, supposedly they're corrected this to some degree.
He also mentioned they have done a small amount of blasting in one area where they must have had a patch of ore too hard for the surface miners to get through. Don't think its widespread though.
