there are far,  far more people who have been saved from dying from smallpox ( eradicated by worldwide vaccination program ),
tetanus,  diphtheria,   meningococcal septicaemia,  etc,   than the very few with dubious claims of harm.
even if it were true,  do we ban planes and cars because a few people die in accidents ?
do we ban antibiotics because a few people have allergic reactions,  and just let the rest die of infection   ?
like everything in life,  it's all a matter of weighing up benefits versus risks,  and the benefits far outweigh the risks.
go visit a third world country and see people dying ghastly horrible deaths from diphtheria ( airway asphyxiation )
or tetanus (  painful spasms, paralysis and respiratory failure ),  then try saying that immunising people against these
    diseases is not worth it.
