surprise 3d seismic: correct decision - cottee

3D seismic over Surprise:

I have just listened to the DJ Carmicael call for the umpteenth time and for the first time picked up these snippets :

At 12m:57s into the interview he says:

" ... The 3D seismic has shown there was a fair degree of micro-faulting ... that/would that shows we were correct to do the 3D seismic ... because we are going to be realigning the horizontal drilling as a result of that ..."

This was a very contentious issue at the time with John Heugh wanting to drill further horiz/wells (see his public statement) and Askin wanting to do the 3D ... looks like Askin was right to push for the 3D seismic (according to Cottee anyway)
