DB1. To put the record straight. Geoffrey10 is quite correct. There was an EGM on 11 June 2009 where resolution 1 - "Sale of Assets to Minmetals" was formally voted on by shareholders. You can check the ASX for the sad results. BIGSKYS attempts to rally shareholders against the motion unfortunately didn't gain enough support. The result was dictated by the large shareholders, who clearly had "no bottle" for a stouch with the Banks and followed the recommendation of the Board. FWIW I voted NO and am still angry at the outcome.
