Yesterday shawdow Treasurer Jim Chalmers, announced what was suppose to be their key tax reform... Instead it was the policy announcement equivalent of a wet blanket that would see some $1.9 Billion supposedly recovered in taxes from multi-nationals...

Was this policy designed to restore the balance of the Budget? No
Was this policy designed to relinquish household cost of living pressures? No
The policy was designed to reportedly pay for Labor's election promises.... however. It doesn't do that either.

It doesn't even pay for Labor's key $2.5 billion budget policy that has all but been wound back and put indefinitely on hold - Aged Care nurses. In another sign of failing policy Labor have indicated they may look at skilled migrants to fill their requirements for 24 hour Nursing in Aged Care facilities... because that will fix slow wage growth...

The circus rolls on, but can we really expect more from a life long labor man that's not worked a day in his life?
