Thanks for that. I can't claim to know much about these topics at all, so going through Terra's website, and watching a few of the videos was interesting. Going back to his talks in 2010 and 2012 about using the tails at Paducah which would power the US for 100s or 1000s of years, using the Gen 4 tech he's backing.....
So of course all technologies are a competitor, but SLX could be used now and has been vetted whereas this is still tech waiting to be proven? Do we know if Terra is close to Gates' timelines of 2022?
If this is all too basic feel free to send me on my way to do a lot more research.
I bought SLX years back after a compelling article in AFR and always having liked nuclear energy.... which i still do.
