2. maybe they want to push the share price so something more like fair value (well north of current sp) so that they (as a company with a higher market valuation) are better able to close funding for Dargues on good terms, OR
3. maybe they actually just want approval of plan to mop up unmarketable parcels to save expenses (so need to push our thinking in that direction), OR
4. maybe they want to become one of select few of small miners providing returns to shareholders so that they can attract interest of those investors who have a need for $ back (i.e. not satisfied with cap gain only), OR
5. maybe they see market cap as hugely undervaluing the company and feel that for good governance purposes that they need to "walk up" the share price by successive announcements, OR
6. who knows?
I am also surprised, and somewhat confused.
My guess is that it is a mix of the first 5.

If they think a special divvy of around .006c is possible,
why not just start paying a .002c divvy for 3 years until Dargues is well and truly running.

8% yeild at 2.5c...which would be sustainable if they get Dargues pumping in 18 months
