I'm becoming more confident that Whitehaven are going to purchase daunia mine. My thoughts...
The close proximity to their Winchester project, which lies directly south.
Daunia runs autonomy, a different type/brand to their current NSW autonomy operations, they would then get to weigh up which system is better moving forward, I've heard the system they are using in NSW has not performed to expectations, but this is hearsay only.
As a shareholder I'm not keen on Whitehaven purchasing daunia for the prices that have been thrown around, it's alot of money for a ~4mpta mine, but I can see future benefits with the infrastructure that comes with the purchase.
