As an aside for those that bought today (and barring any world wide routs...) in conjunction with a collegue a year or so ago I conducted a statistical analysis of stock performance across the entire ASX going back several years as to the performance of stocks following trading days that had volume greater than highest volume + 10% in the preceding 200 trading days.

We found the day following this was inevitably the day to buy (not the day of the volume) and regardless of whether the volume related to a price high or low a profit of >10% could be extracted from the trade (based on the highest trade price on that following day) within the following month in a ridiculously high percentage of cases.

In case you are wondering this is a relatively simple Metastock function....

I suspect today was the day for TMS. I, unfortunately, was driving three screaming kids........(they are beautiful actually!!!)
