A lot has changed here and I haven't followed this for quite some time after my concerns were borne out.
I tend to agree though that AHF hasn't quite got itself a clean set of heels from its past, yet.
The Board has been cleansed but some here say it may need further cleansing or a renewed cleansing before it can truly survive, others say the cleansing is done and it is sheer profit from here. An unknown as there are no outstanding members of the Board in fact it looks completely remis of any depth of Board experience whatsoever. A risk. For the record Peter Nathan doesnt qualify as a Board experienced individual. A regional CEO and a CEO of minor companies maybe but not a governance experienced Board member. A risk.
The management team appears to have been washed through, finally. That alone might be enough to inspire confidence by some, but not all. Both in terms of removing legacy and the arrival of others with their demons and track record. A risk.
The messy and convoluted capital structure has been removed it seems and that structure was compliments of one accounting idiot long gone. So the current capital structure is a start. A basis for serious capital funding as the dairy industry is renown for being capital intensice to say the least. A risk.
A Constitution notice was lodged with the ASXX in November 2024 but made no comment as to whether it was the existing one at the time or a revised one and secondly no updated Governance Statement has been lodged. Amateurish governance skills are seeping through. A risk.
Its Corporate brand? Not fantastic due to past performance and conduct dating back to the start of the end with the acquisition of the CDC on the Camperdown Dairy Park in 2017.
Brand and product reputation and market depth? Unknown, although well debated by others in this forum. A risk.
Scale of production? A single plant of small scale with allegedy minimal granularity to increase throughput with out intense capital expenditure. A risk.
So what is left for long suffering shareholders...prayers, wishful thinking and trusting so much to so few for so long.
@seuss, I give you credit for sticking this one out and continuing to post of past woes and the risk they carry through to today. I think AHF has too much damage of the past to be a recovery or even a turnaround proposition and secondly the opportunity window for the dairy industry has long gone. However there appears to be a bunch of new fresh faced kids out there looking at AHF with glee and hope believing the Board and the new CEO is the AHF saviour, don't ruin their dreams. Let life teach them a lesson instead.
Cheers,
AO
