    It's odd being an old rebel. I was in high school when I first heard Elvis's Heartbreak Hotel and my mother wanted to wash my mouth out when I said I liked it. "Cool" hadn't been invented nor had "Rock 'N' Roll" but I liked what I heard and learnt to dance to it. Back then there was an endless stream of new sounds and talents.

    Dire Straits is the last super band I can remember. Pop-tarts don't cut it. Potts, Boyle and Ryan may remind us of talent, but I doubt it.

    Did I say Elvis had Talent? He filled a niche.
