    I was just going to say that misty, when slavery was abolished people in other industries would be affected, like cotton workers in mills in England for example, that relied on cotton exports from the Confederacy. But that is only because of the evil immoral system of capitalism. Technically the owners of the English mills wanted to make a profit. That they employed English wage workers to mill the cotton was only incidental. Profit for the capitalists was the motive for the employing English mill workers to mill cotton grown by slaves.

    Trash has got his socialism mixed up with his capitalism, talking about ethical choices and harm to humans. The obvious first task should be the abolition of capitalism, if his moral concerns were genuine.
