re: susan sontag - says Top stuff about money and entertainmnet in the US but I would have many questions to ask about her view of what she calls "fascist art."

It seems to me that the very same criteria she points out as being "fascist" might also be found in works which fight "fascism."
As well, not all artistic media have the same tools of expression: music, painting, sculpture, architecture, poetry, fiction, theatre (ancient and modern) ballet, opera are "created" with different restrictions of production and are subject to a wide variety of interpretations. That's why it's very hard to define the artist's message -if any message is intented.

To bundle up "art" as one species of expression is an error in itself; to then sub-divide it into "fascist" and "non-fascist" is, it seems to me, impossible and insulting to the artists.
