Perhaps you should do less glancing through these articles and dig a little deeper. If Renmano are no long a "fighting unit" how come most of the casualties are the government's troops sent to "deal" with Renmano.

The municipal elections are to be held 20 November, followed by general elections in 2014. This issue will not go away any time soon - unless they manage to assassinate Afonso Dhlakama, which is something they seem to be trying to do
