Exactly what do people want him charged with?

Desperate people sought him out to arrange a trip to Australia.
He hasn't created the demand. Others are guilty of that.

He hasn't assisted anyone to break the law. As many have pointed out Asylum seekers have a right to travel to Australia, they are not illegal.

So he is assisting people who have approached him to pursue their lawful rights in a desperate situation.

The only thing he is guilty of is being painted as the scapegoat by Australian politicians for a farcical situation of their making.

The Australian politicians hold out food for starving people and persecute those who sell them a ladder to get to it.

The guilt is in Canberra not Indonesia.
