Hi JDSyd, re "economics of supply and demand", unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much demand for the stuff from that other company you are discussing, based on their binding off-takes, they seem to be into bulk mining and shipping it off, whereas TON seems to be pursuing a more balanced value adding approach and moving into areas of future high demand finished product, such as building insulation, even that battery stuff has been mentioned. This should also help insulate them from any fall in the commodity prices, which I suppose will impact on the dig and ship operations, as you say it's a supply and demand equation. The high cost ones will be particularly vulnerable one would think.
