I'm a holder and hoping for good things, however, as others have already said it is also VERY plausible that they need extra time for bad news.

Another factor to consider is that they could be deciding how best to present the numbers/statistics. Medical trials can be unequivocally positive or negative in which case it is very easy to present the results. But more often than not the results are somewhere in the middle and essentially it comes down to 'interpretation' and how they are actually massaged to either support or disprove a theory. This may be another factor explaining the extra time required
