Interestingly, an article in Friday's AFR referred to a 'change of control' in Energy Metals.
Pretty strange wording. If the AFR is correct, the only way a 'change of control' in my opinion could happen, assuming this means more than 50% of EME shares changing hands, is if both JRL, and Mark Scott (a director of JRL), decided to sell their stakes in EME. I think combined they have just over 50% of EME shares (around 40% JRL, and 11% Kale Corporation being a company controlled by Mark Scott).
The confusing thing is, why did Mark Scott transfer his EME shares from his 'pension fund' to a private company a couple months ago. Doesn't seem very smart from a tax perspective although could depend on the circumstances.
