Dear Shareholder,
Thank you for your email enquiry. The Lynas shares have been placed in a trading halt pending an announcement from the company. The reason for the trading halt is to allow for completion of the financing package for the Rare Earths Project. The final piece of the funding package is an equity issue of approx. AUS$60 million. This share placement has been successfully placed and the brokers are awaiting completion of documentation upon which the company will announce successful completion of funding and is anticipating that the voluntary suspension shall be lifted.
The company is advising shareholders to keep a watching brief on the Australian Stock Exchange for the company’s announcements.
