In these circumstances it is not uncommon, in my experience of observing the market for 20 years, for a Trading Halt to extend into a Suspension in order for management to have more time to sort things out and be able to give reliable guidance.
My other observation would be that revenue and profit downgrades usually come in a succession, with a minimum of three being required before management's optimism finally matches reality.
