Yes there was collusion between the majors hence why the Ni price was around 50k per tonne as well as storage levels being very low at the time, now those levels have increased 100% hence why we are less than 40k per tonne, another thought i have regarding this suspension is that the rights have been obtained for the 6 year extension but the burundians may not be happy with AGY on selling them to a third party, most likely the Burundians will want their palms greased considerably before their blessing is passed on, normal African polictics.
My thoughts are only my own and open for chat debate, hopefully somebody will be able to shed more light today with a few phone calls.
