Well, no, there isn't that much NCu. As evidenced by how long it took them, even with a trial ore sorter, to scrape together 170t to send to China where, apparently, it has got stuck at customs. So much for having a logistics manager on the team. All he's had to do is two deliveries (as the port and rail link are off the table atm). At least he managed to get one delivery to the Isa. Well done, John!
The ore sorter, if/when it is eventually installed, is only there to grab the +40mm out of all the other +40mm crap that is screened from the crusher (if/when/now that is working properly), which the bulk tests showed would be screened directly from the crusher - i.e. the incredibly exhaustive, definitive bulk tests (two) were wrong. The vast bulk of the NCu is supposed to be smaller than that and will be extracted by the $23m AllJig if/when the electricals are installed.
So the question is, I reckon, why didn't they send the 170t to the Isa? Ah, yes of course, the Isa won't give the Shanghai premium of 17% VAT to Cudeco.
