Let me speculate here for a second.. Whilst I agree with you NO T/O from PRU.. But it doesn't rule out the possibility of PRU taking a stake in NMG.. IMO I think this relates to the control transaction meaning another company is taking a big position. Therefore IF PRU wants to make a T/O over down the line it would make the process a lot easier as they are a major holder..

You just have to look a like of BHP,RIO,NCM they always take a controlling interest first before T/O
