Agree, lets hope there are more than 1 parties and they are allowed to do some preliminary DD.
This would some level of competitive tension and hopefully a desirable outcome. Beyond CF i woudlnt be suprised to see some larger producer in need of growth options at the table obvious choice being OZ.
Not sure if they woudl bid cash though or any other listed company, any transaction with an existing producer i imagine would need a few weeks DD (they woudl liek more but they know the situation) and woudl probably be a scrip/cash deal
All hypothetical however if i was presented with a cash offer vs a scrip offer i would take the cash anyday, all subject to rpice of course.
