I share your fears but am doubtful they'd just stash the money from asset sales into the coffers or repaying of debt. The whole idea of this process was supposed to be to provide value to shareholders that isn't being found in the share price for whatever reason to date. So you'd have to think some sort of return to investors would be involved, which should assist the share price at the same time. At least that's the sort of thing I'll be expecting.
I know AMU's past record is not inspiring but don't forget there is some new blood on the board. Sandy Beard kicked up quite a fuss to get onto the board, so I'm hopeful he'll now deliver better results. I think the board and management must know shareholders' patience has just about run out with this company.
