Westcott - as I have said many times before, IMO BHP are not interested in West Africa at this time.
So if China wants to try and build a new Pilbara I am sure BHP will be happy to sit back and let them make a mess of it just as they have with all their other major iron ore projects.
All the others, well IMO they are just hangers on, bit players, waiting for someone else to take all the risk and build some infrastructure.
It will be like herding cats for China to line them all up into some sort of cohesive Pilbara style project.
China may well like the idea of owning a new Pilbara in W Africa, but IMO they don't want Hanlong running it.
