The market in general was not convinced about the SS&T deal. Have a look at the SP performance over many days and weeks leading up to it. Whilst no doubt there was a decrease and the probability of succes was decreased, there was no massive volume exiting over one or 2 particular days. So while i agree that the trend of the chart suggested exiting the stock, I repeat no immediate suggestion of insider trading by the mild SP moves intraday. I am dealing with PLV managements ability to prevent any major leaks, not charting trends etc. I agree with you that the overall trends in SP has correlated with the announcement. However, exceptions have occurred recently. I would be more concerned if large volumes was associated with decreasing SP leading up to this announcement. Not a ST SP decrease by 10 % when iron ore stocks like AGO andFMH=G have retraced too following recent surges in iron ore.
