OEL website still lists sub-phase 4 period for SC55 as 5 August 2011 to 5 August 2012...this sub-phase changed date one year ago! Also still nutting out the BHPP farmin doc!
OEL - SC55
According to my notes, OEL are required to hand back 50% of SC55 to the DOE at the end of the phase 4 period, ie 5 August 2013.
OEL were awarded SC55 on 5 August 2005 (42.5%) along with AustralAsian (42.5%) and Trans Asia (15%).
SC59 was awarded to PNOC EC on January 13, 2006, 5 months after OEL got SC55.
You'd therefore assume that the SC59 work phases were only 5 months later than the same phases for SC55.
Otto has been getting sub-phase extensions on SC55 since at least 2009, therefore pretty safe to assume PNOC-EC has been getting them for SC59.
As I mentioned before, BHPP farmed into PNOC-EC's SC59 in Nov 2009 for 75% and operatorship.
BHPP pulled out of it's December 2008 SC55 farmin deal with Otto in May 2009.
This is all leading me to think, if the screws are being turned tight on SC55 now, what the hells been going on next door in SC59? BHPP involved in both of these and nothings happening!
There's plenty of room here to wonder what the hell's going on. Quite easy to assume that the Local content of the SC59 JV are getting preferred treatment!
