So there were plenty of the realists here who got it correct again, nothing but a further delay in the announcement.

One can only wonder what will happen in 2 weeks time, another further delay? or will something of substance actually happen.
There are plenty of companies trading that are waiting on finance to finish or even start projects but this one can obviously not trade at present as they are technically insolvent. So suspension is the correct course of action.

Looking back, it is easy to see how Cudeco got into the current mess, hindsight is always easy, but to rely on a vote at an EGM for a totally new player to become part of the company, with a share price advantage and free low priced options over the existing large holders, was always a big ask.
But why was the company so low on funds at that point?

The real reason is that the company was always playing catch up with the situation at hand but scared to tell the market as the effect on the SP would be to go sub $1. Even the last cap raise in 2013 that involved existing shareholders was not only way overpriced, but even if fully successful was not enough to get the company to full production. The plant has been built on the go slow. It has taken 3 years for the plant to get this far, not good enough compared to others and managements promises.
In November 2013 we were told the plant would be ready for commissioning by June/July 2014, yet in November 2014 they had not even let the electrical contracts, that were going to take 5 months to finish.
Throughout the project, everything has run overtime and over cost, yet the company never released the DFS showing how much it would cost, or whether it was going to make money or not.

None of this is one persons blame, but the whole board that let one individual run the company like his own little fiefdom, with adoring fans turning up once a year to hear all the great stories of large highly demanded nuggets of copper that litter the site.
Now with the chief gone, because he let the company get into such a precarious position, the company can't trade as they have no money and the board look to be completely impotent to do anything as they wait for permission from the 3 largest holders to say anything, or do anything.
    Why are they even there?
