I'm going to say its worse. If it was such a great offer we would have seen it by now and no need for further negotiation.
Other possibility is the volatile Platinum price is making price negotiation difficult. Same thing going on with a few other resource companies - falling commodity prices changing everything and takeover valuations need to be rethought.
When it opens on the offer price I am prepared to buy, you'd have to wouldn't you? on the chance of a higher bid?
