I just read this in a broker report , make of it what you will.
"Coal supported by energy policy and supply constraints: investors agreed that the shift inenergy policy in Europe to reduce reliance on Russian hydrocarbons is likely to be structural andcould lead to 5-8 years of higher-for-longer coal prices given the timeline required to build newLNG and renewable capacity, structural supply constraints on coal and bottlenecks onrenewable build-out. Russian exports are down 26% YTD further tightening the market, whileChina’s 300mt production growth target is to support domestic energy security due to strongdomestic demand."
