Not sure, but they've splashed out in China recently to position themselves for their 3G mobile rollout.
Think Telstra are in the midst of perfect storm:
Tech doldrums, coming down from 9s during Tech bubble. Then GFC trims it down further towards 4 even. Then NBN exlusion to mid 3s, and now CEO uncertainty down to 3 and possibly less.
Just one negative layer over another. Doubt we will see them stacked up this high again unless XJO really tanks hard in this cycle. Great buying opportunities.
