What is your forecast for the future?

Anja Hochberg: I think we can expect growth in volumes of around 20 percent annually in the next few years. But the strength of this growth also depends on demand: The greater the demand for sustainable solutions, the more the financial market industry will have to address them. The broader the spectrum of investment solutions, the more liquid the market and the more attractive it becomes for investors. This can provide a mutual stimulus. At global level, it is nevertheless a subject that requires further prioritization. Take climate change: To achieve the two degrees target in the battle against climate change, for example, around US 300 billion would need to be invested in sustainable real estate every year. As a bank we try to make a contribution to this.
