Do you not think the debt funding may have been agreed prior to the credit crunch, on the basis of all 3 offtake agreements being finalised? My guess is that once 2/3 have been completed, debt funding will follow soon after. Nevertheless the credit situation is improving, although as we are finding/finding out, many of the banks are/will be reporting losses this qtr.
Still investors are chasing growth stocks in mining and commodities just as they were at the beginning of the year, as if the credit crunch had never happened.
