Whatever options he did buy won't be showing in that 17+% announced from yesterday yet.
They won't show until the 3B from the company comes out with the new shares issued, and then his substantial notice will reflect his change in holding because of:

The dilution effect of more shares on issue to his %age shareholding

His extra shares IF he bought and converted some options.

It's this option play that suggests (imo) they HAVE been used as part of this power play, if that's what it ends up being.
