Australia will not have a choice but to actually let the virus run like it has in most of the rest of the world. Eventually there will be many cases here to. Even if you have been vaccinated you will still be able to catch it. They are not going to be able to eliminate covid. it will most likely be like the flu. And you might have to get booster jabs each year etc. So eventually the border will have to open and even with all the best practices the virus will get in. And there will be many who contract it.
