Not 100% sure bundabum however it looks as though MEO's drill is slotted in as 1 of the 4 Shell drills, MEO has the first of the 3 option slot so it's just appears on the books as a Shell drill??
as per upstream online news back in July.
The Songa Venus is currently under contract to Shell, from Norway's Songa Offshore, under a three well drilling program with options for an additional three wells.
MEO said the rig assignment agreement formalisd its earlier commitment to Shell for exercise of the first of the three option slots.
Shell advised MEO that it estimated the drilling rig would be released to the company sometime during November.
