Checking the Withnell gas zone?

I was thinking the same myself - they may as well make the most of it whilst they are down there.

We can only hope the Artemis gas has been trapped there but this is wishful thinking on my part.

Before anybody says anything we have accepted that the target zones are void of HCs, exactly as the report says.

The report of water bearing sands in Zeus#1 was released 13 Feb 2009 and the P&A program started before the rig release 19 Feb (6 days).

The no show report was 13 Dec (that 13 again) and we're now in our 8th day. It depends if the rig was battened down for the recent bad weather.

The SV will soon be on its way as it was only booked for one of the 3 well options, as shown on the SV site. We will be told of the handover to Total pretty soon. The weekly report (Wed) was absent last week and it will be interesting to see if we get one tomorrow.

Then it will be the long wait for final analysis of the logs and decision time for all concerned PPs.
