Nobody has seemed to notice that Savannah has failed to settle its Tranche 2 allocation in the Clara Resources Placement this month. Savannah owned almost 20% of Clara prior to $3.5m placement and 80% of the placement money was due in tranche 2.
A listed corporate signs a contract with another listed corporate to inject $680k and then at settlement time fails to stump up the cash.
First SVG asks for an extension on its payment, which was granted, and then it defaults.
This is almost unheard of and indicative of financial stress at SVG.
