One last word on the problem with clear felling of endangered land stopping the mine due to it being strictly forbidden in legislation.
Well I had a quick look through the legislation and while at first glance it seems threatening, at the end of the day it says that if the minister says so, you can clear fell the lot and have bbq koala with spotted quango sauce for tea, all depends on how much you're willing to convince him.
So the law these days is really formalised corruption it seems.
