Correct.
The deepest and ugliest hole is the one that the US dug, and is now trying to stop sliding uncontrollably into. Where's the US going to find buyers for their treasuries? They're not making any friends, and in fact, lost quite a few in the last couple of years too. The ones they have left are all skunk broke.
For the record, I dislike all of US politics, the Australian govt, and all the socialist elements of the EU(95% of it). They are creating a perfect storm for $ to be made, but a great many are currently losing, and will stand to lose more going forward.
