Having expectations is dangerous with this stock..Silver price bottomed-out with gold a few years ago..and you've only got to look at the chart to see that SVL has steadily dropped in price, while silver has trended higher..Mainly because of the massive share-dilution largely 'sweetheart placements' to institutions buying at a big discount to us..
Around the time spot/futures silver bottomed SVL did a 15c placement to institutions and our B.O.D. promised to match that for us retail-holders. Then silver price bounced off-the-bottom sending SP north of 20c. When I reminded Trent Franklin of their commitment he tried to blame the previous B.O.D for the promise..I emailed him the promise (contained in announcement) made after current B.O.D was sworn in..With nowhere left to hide he admitted-to-me (all recorded on email) that the share-price had gone-too-high for them to honour their promise. There was no way they were going to allow retail shareholders to score a legitimate advantage. They thought they had enough funds from their insto' gods..Clearly not, because we've seen numerous SPP's & placements since, combined raising less than us retail-holders would have contributed in 1 hit..hugely diluting our shares. These guys are short-term thinkers and too immature to keep their commitments. Current SP around 5c is less than a quarter of the price at which our B.O.D. had the opportunity to secure ongoing funding from us longsuffering mushrooms. Expect another share-dilution very soon as these guys operate 'hand to mouth' and when the insto's say "jump" they're already on the trampoline..
We need some 'bigger boys' in charge if this dream of $1 is to come true..even at the end of next year..let alone this December.
If you want an inspiration on how to play this 'specky' checkout posting by @happyrolow. He buys on the inevitable plunges & sells AFTER it doubles..no doubt keeping some in the unlikely-event the SP keeps soaring..e.g. to this dream price of $1..bad karma to promote this $1 thing to newcomers who might buy around 6c this month with lofty-expectations as they'll be the ones selling-in-despair at loss to the parasitic financial insto's who are covering their short sales nailed at 6c + to those same desperate retail mushrooms.
I hold SVL as one of a number of dreamy speckies..and I buy when the insto's are trying to 'cover their shorts' after the SP plunge they so often create. I agree with many here that silver will be much more valuable down the track, but that'll only be reflected in $ terms when J.P. Morgan has bought enough at this sub $22 level..Only when they've cornered the market..as much as they're able..will they let the silver price soar..It's very much manipulated so if you want to pay 5c, 6c, 7c it's wise to keep some funds aside to buy much-lower after the rug's pulled from under us..getting that average-cost VERY low..otherwise too many of uconnedvictimized pawns in the game of chess the banks have been playing ever-since they got away with crushing the American public in the 2007-2009 GFC. Patience, balance & self discipline required. I began my cautions when the SP was mid 6's last month. Many thought 6.5c was the right-time to jump in & buy. They were conned. The buy-price is #1 most important thing in this casino. I wonder who's behind this $1 by year-end thing :/ Good luck to all retail holders GLTARH
