Just wondering whether people think there might be any merit on some form of merger/JV between SVM and EQX?

Both Middlemas backed. SVM is fully funded to complete the DFS, with capex looking to be circa $30m. EQX has $40m in cash and what appears to be a quality iron ore project, but is reliant on other entities building a significant stretch of rail before it could even entertain doing it's own significant extension to the rail, so a very long-term prospect to bring into production.

If they were to pool their resources though, they should be able to get Malingunde into production with no third parties involved. High operating margins from Malingunde would later enable them to seriously advance the iron ore or make other acquisitions. In any event, there probably wouldn't be any debt to pay off

Just something i'd been thinking about and was curious as to what all of you might think...
