They say if things look too good to be true, then it probably is. That does make me worry about SVWPA. I want to be a realist, so have I have read and reread the SVW financials and it all points to a company that is diverse and solid. Yes, it has debt, but nothing that should be totally alarming. One thing that does worry me a little is the investment in China - I have had business dealings in China and I know that anything can happen.
A solid 11%+ return seems like a great thing. In a bull market and a couple of positive write-ups, this would surely be solid investment in anyones portfolio. But, alas, this market is punishing anything and everything.
I am very much overweight in SVWPA, but I feel that 18 months down the track, it could turn into a nice little investment.
