Cheers McVest - appreciate your well intentioned comments. I ended up with a sizeable amount of my retirement in SVY and sadly am down over 80%. I was a big believer and still 'think' i am.
You mentioned other opportunities - I wonder if you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction, perhaps to your Top 3 or 5 High conviction ideas?
I am closing watching GCY, but just cant help but think after such a tremendous rise (140%) in the past few months and considering the nervousness in markets, that it may likely claw back to high teens before reaching for the stars again. I could be wrong, but if Im not I would hate to lock in such a large loss on SVY only to be hit by a sizeable retracement in GCY.
Self serving post fellow SVY's, sorry for that. But in need of some guidance to get my retirement back on track
